Another Farewell and Good Bye Y6 2009

We wish our 2009 Leavers a fantastic future. We will miss them.

Caswell Bay

We all had a great day out at Caswell Bay. We even found a starfish.

Children singing carols at our Christmas fayre 2008.

The children enjoyed our first Christmas fun activity morning.

Making arts and crafts, raffles and singing carols. We also had bacon butties and mince pies.

Santa visited bring gifts for all the children. A fantastic morning.

Cookery Club

Looking well dressed for the occasion, the children cooked apple and blackberry crumble in club this week. It smelt delicious. 

First Foundation Unit in Gloucestershire- Opening September-

In September, we are opening the first Foundation Unit in Gloucestershire. This will cater for children aged 2 years nine months to five years.

Fossil finding on the Isle of Wight

  At the beginning of Y6 children join up with other Y6 children from local primary schools.

They all take part in a visit to the Isle of Wight.

This helps prepare them for the transition to secondary school.

Leavers 2008

Always a sad time to say goodbye to our children as they move on to Secondary School.

Lots of children keep in touch after they have left. It's always great to see them.

Minipins- included in end of year production.

Our Minipins Preschool children join in with events throughout the year.

This prepares them for Foundation, their self confidence is amazing.

Music Day at Newent

Children joined together with Glosmatch and Newent children to have fun with music.

They put a performance together including songs from Mama Mia.

Royal Visit by Henry VIII 2008

A royal visitor during our study on the Tudors. A fantastic experience.

Santa visits Minsterworth- swapping hats.

All children had a visit from Santa. One child decided it would be fun to swap hats with Santa. 

Sports Day Summer 2008

Sports day is always full of fun- a children's favourite.

As well as the traditional races, Minsterworth has the added extra fun races for Mums, Dads and toddlers. 

Summer Village Fayre 2008

School take part in the village fayre. Judo club do a display. School run the BBQ and there are lots of activities to take part in.

Last year Mrs Ritchie brought her dog Jo who took part in the dog show. 

Traveller month June 2008

Children planned an assembly and invited parents.

They talked about all the exciting things that happen in Traveller life.
